MEET THE AUTHOR EVENT
A huge thank you to everyone who made the Riley Sager event possible! We had a wonderful evening celebrating the release of Riley’s new book - The Unknown!
A huge, heartfelt thank you to the Cotton Mill at McKinney and the MillHouse for donating an incomparable venue for our event.
THANK YOU TO ON DEMAND REALTY, CLARITY HOME LENDING, AND CHICAGO TITLE FOR THEIR GENEROUS SPONSORSHIP OF RILEY’S EVENT
Thanks to Guave Tree Cafe and Cantina, Graze Craze, and The Deviled Egg Company for our delicious food.
And, last but certainly not least -
Half Price Books in McKinney!
We loved supporting the McKinney Public Library at the MISD New Hire Welcome Breakfast! A big thanks to the McKinney Chamber of Commerce and everyone else that made the event possible.
On July 9th, Amanda Eyre Ward joined us to discuss her newly published book, Arrivals and Departures. It was a lovely evening. Thank you to everyone who attended and especially Luke Gajary for his thoughtful and entertaining moderating. Also thank you to The Deviled Egg Company! Your designer eggs were, as always, a huge hit.
A huge thank you to everyone who made Lit Fest 2026 a huge success! Library staff, all the volunteers, Neighbor Books, and, of course, our local authors were all amazing. The Foundation had lots of happy winners! The event has Larry’s paw print of approval.
Thank you to everyone who attended our Meet the Author event for C.J. Box!
The food was delicious! A BBQ battle between Tender and Hutchin’s — but the deviled eggs from The Deviled Egg Company stole the show!
“Books are good company, in sad times and happy times, for books are people - people who have managed to stay alive by hiding between the covers of a book.” — E. B. White, author
