Our Purpose & Goals

  • Promote

    Promote and sustain the annual McKinney Literary Fest. The 2025 Fest will be held on August 23 & 24th at the new McKinney City Hall.

  • Create

    MPLF created a scholarship fund which was used in spring of 2025 to award scholarships to two library volunteers. New scholarships are planned for 2026.

  • Fund

    MPLF helps fund library programs and services for our entire community. Our current focus is to purchase an Anytime Library, a kiosk that would provide patrons with 24/7 access to library materials.
